Sandal & Flip Flop Galore!

I am slowly but surely building up my shoe collection. So much so I have run out of room in my teeny tiny bedroom!

Anyway, I thought I would show a few of my favorite sandals and flip flops at the moment! I do have one more pair of sandals to add to this that I bought from Matalan,I will add those in when they arrive in the post :)

The ones that I have included in this post are the ones I will be taking on holiday with me :-) Look out for my long ass holiday post! Coming soon.

5...4...3...2...1....

The countdown for many things in my life have well and truly begun!

I guess the biggest of them all is my final year at uni! I can't wait to see some friends, make new friends and get student loan! But the workload is going to be immense! I got my dissertation and my modules are all coursework based so I am now in the process of prepping, doing some readings and trying to organise my life to make sure everything goes well. I will be living at home and commuting, I was going to drive but I have decided to take the train as it will be cheaper, save on petrol and student loan money. Plus the extra walking will help keep me in shape! We have an occasional parking permit scheme so I will use that for the odd day when I decide to drive or if I will be getting back late!

Next is my holiday to Tenerife with one of my close friends at the end of August, I really cannot wait, 5 weeks to go! I will be getting eyelash extenstions as I plan not to wear much make up and eyelashes can make you look 'pretty' without trying. I have NO eyelashes they are so so short which makes me sad but nevermind! I will get a couple of phony ponies/buns for my hair and a half wig if i fancy having long hair. Just need to sort out what exactly we want to do when we are there, as I want to make the most of it! We are hoping to do some theme parks, boat trips, shopping & sight seeing. I will be leaving my Blackberry behind and use a pay as yo go, only so I can call my parents to let them know I arrived safely and call them every couple of nights to let them know I am ok! I want all connections to my life at home severed for that week, not have a care in the world, be selfish and have nothing but fun! I will do a separate post on my holiday soon!

Lastly PAYDAY!!! woop! This months cannot come any quicker (although I say this every month) but I have done quite well to stretch my money this money with only 2 days of being broke! 5 stars to me! lol I am making a list of exactly what I want to buy and budgeting. I am hoping to get my teeth whitened but I am holding out for a Groupon or KGB deal for that to get it done cheaply.

But blah another random post, I promise my next will be more constructive and have substance!

R.I.P Amy Winehouse

You know it really makes me sad that such a great talent has passed. Amy was only 27 years old so she still had alot more to give and alot more to live. Who knows what was happening behind closed doors, but she definitely had some demons  that seem to have won the battle.


It's clear to see she was passionate about music from her earlier days, her voice was raw and amazing so in that respect its really sad.


Sometimes in life we can end up in the wrong crowd and it can take one little thing to change our lives. It' so sad, but I hope this is an example to all young people on how not to live your life, in terms of her choice to take drugs, it is just not worth it. There is always someone worse of than you. We take so much for granted, I think sometimes we forget how truly blessed we are to have what we have. SAY NO TO DRUGS! there is nothing good that can come from using them just say No! Drink in moderation and be responsible, that one night that you consume a little too much and gets into your bloodstream to the point it becomes poisonous, it can kill you.


My heart, my prayers and my thoughts go out to her friends and family at this time. I also lost my brother a few years ago, so i can understand the pain they must be feeling, without going through it yourself you just cannot imagine or comprehend the hurt that something like this causes.


Hopefully she can be at peace now, and no more harm or hurt or pain can come to her. Lets remember for her talents, rather than the bad choices she made.


She is now in Gods hands, rest in peace Amy

As you will notice most of this i got from sales online and in shop, this is because i am the ultimate bargain hunter people! You just gotta keep your eye peeled for the latest deals and always check out sales or clearance sections for hidden gems!

Avon Nail Enamel

So my mum works for avon, and with her latest delivery I ordered some nail varnishes from their 'Arabian Glow' range.

Anywho, onto the 3 nail enamels I purchased, they were £5 each. These are the boxes they come packaged in:

First I got "Teal Waters".

This has very small silver shimmers.

If you want sheer coverage then one coat is enough otherwise two coats are needed for a solid colour.

Next is "Beach Glow".

This a cross between a deep pink, brown and coral, it is extremely irredescent, with green undertones.

Also sheer with one coat and solid with two.

Last, but certainly not least (because this is my favourite) is "Coral Sands"

Again one coat sheer, two coats solid.

This one is slightly different from the other two as its more of a solid colour. This one also has an irredescent bluey-green undertone but its very light, you can only see it in the light

Avon is a good way to make some extra money if your strapped for cash, if your good at premoting products and willing to put in time an effort you can really make some good extra cash.
